The Subaru Uncharted has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. These airbags help prevent the driver and front passenger from sliding under their seatbelts or the main frontal airbags; this keeps them better positioned during a collision for maximum protection. Knee airbags also help keep the legs from striking the dashboard, preventing knee and leg injuries in the case of a serious frontal collision. The EX30 doesn’t offer knee airbags.

The Subaru Uncharted’s rear backup camera has a standard washer for maintaining a clear view under various conditions. In contrast, the Volvo EX30 does not offer a rear camera washer, meaning its effectiveness relies on manual cleaning by the user when necessary.

The Uncharted has a standard locking charge port, which locks and unlocks with the power locks. The EX30 doesn’t have a locking charge port. A locking charge port prevents tampering and damage.

The Uncharted’s standard easy entry system glides the driver’s seat back, making it easier for the driver to get in and out. The EX30 doesn’t offer an easy entry system.

The Uncharted’s standard power window controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The EX30’s available power window controls are spread out on the center console where they can’t be seen without the driver completely removing his eyes from the road.

In poor weather, headlights can lose their effectiveness as grime builds up on their lenses. This can reduce visibility without the driver realizing. The Uncharted has standard headlight washers to keep headlight output high. The EX30 doesn’t offer headlight washers.

To shield the driver and front passenger’s vision over a larger portion of the windshield and side windows, the Uncharted has standard extendable sun visors. The EX30 doesn’t offer extendable visors.

The Uncharted’s power mirror controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The EX30’s power mirror controls are embedded in the infotainment system, seriously distracting drivers who have to adjust them while driving.
